Assignment Title: Professional Poster; Wine Appreciation and Nutrition Marketing Internship

         This assignment taught the skills of making professional posters to display important information or research in the professional setting. Professional posters help develop computer skills, creative advertising techniques to understand and translate information to poster form.

         From these assignments the understanding of creating a professional poster was gained. Managerial skills are important for any position in the nutrition profession as it teaches how to understand the importance of marketing new foods and how to convey important information to patients and the public in a visually pleasing and understandable format in any hospital or facility. This assignment also shows the importance of reiteration of company information to keep all employees informed and learning, ultimately promoting a positive workspace. All of the information applied when compiling and completing these assignments, reflects all of the information gained in undergraduate nutrition studies and internship experience.

         Professional posters are a very important component to the Nutrition and Food Science profession. Professional posters help convey important information to patients and the public; this information can be policies or nutrition information the patients and the public need to be informed of. This type of skill is utilized in every professional field.
